PYRANHA JED

Jed is not like the others; it's longer than its competitors, which allows for smoother volume distribution and relatively thin ends for easier makeup initiation. The extra length also makes the Jed faster on a wave and smoother on the end in a hole.

A unique "V-Chine" in the aft hull frees the back end for spins and edge transitions while sailing and also adds dynamic speed on a wave. The smooth volume transition to the center of the boat produces incredible pop in a hole and the deceptively smooth lines all over give an obscenely fast and aggressive ride on any wave.

In recent years Pyranha has seen some incredible displays of freestyle talent by paddlers using the Jed, ranging from competing victories to exciting new combo moves, but what we are most proud of are the doors the Jed has opened to all in Freestyle; from the professional looking to push the boundaries of sport to the beginner trying to reach its first vertical extremities.

The Jed is our best and most proven freestyle design, and it's not finished yet!
