Dynamic responsiveness The Black Jack is a modern white water kayak that perfectly bridges the gap between a river boat and a river boat. The high volume and high rocker give it the dry waterline capability and buoyancy a creek boat needs. A flat bottom and a pronounced rail provide dynamic responsiveness even on milder waters.
Turing effortlessly The tips of the boat look sharp, but are loud due to their width. This allows the paddler to effortlessly turn the boat with just one sweep, paddle precise lines in large volume, but also stay tall and dry on steep falls.
285 liters With 285 liters of volume the Jack is built for paddlers between 60 and 85 kg of body weight. Edgeless appears to run independently of cross currents, but exhibits dynamic edge performance already at modest lean angles. Since we have limited the hull width, the Jack is predictable even in shallower water.
Reduced design Since we also cater to the smaller sized paddlers and women the Jack, low weight was a necessity. We shrugged off anything that felt like an excess and came up with a stripped down design that represents the spirit of 21st century white water. No matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or expert, our new kayak is your "Jack of all Trades"..
In setting up the boat, we have constantly focused onergonomicsand onweight optimization: Thanks to the clever design of the parts, we have created a sturdy cockpit for a direct and ergonomic interface between the paddle and the hull of the boat. The footrest, thigh supports, seat, hip pads and backrest are all adapted to the ergonomics of a paddler for a tireless day on the river.
Ourcombination of seat, rail and support, fully integrated, allows an ergonomic sitting for long periods on the water. The central support supports the cockpit area in blocking situations and on large jumps. It can also be used as an emergency step for a safe exit in critical situations.
