With every new boat we design, we try to find the missing link in our fleet. We are very excited about the role the Slick will take on, as it is already the fifth Half Slice we have made. For anyone wondering about the differences, here are a few facts and thoughts:

Despite its length of 275 cm, the Slick is probably our most manoeuvrable boat yet. At 69 cm wide, it is only slightly narrower than the Full House, but we kept the sidewalls a little lower to give it an even more stable platform. In combination with its high bow rocker and optimised rocker brake, it is extremely playful and handles all obstacles with ease.

Although it looks similar to the Joker, the two boats could not be more different. The Joker is fast and tracks straight like no other boat. The Slick, on the other hand, with its wide bow, floats high and turns right and left like a champ. The Slick is certainly one of the most fun ways to paddle both technical and big water.

The sleek stern is inspired by the Barracuda, but with a volume of around 300 litres, the Slick is clearly ideal even for rougher rapids.

The basic idea was to combine elements of the Barracuda and the Full House and create the perfect kayak from both.

Side note: we are often asked what the ideal body weight is for our various models. With the Slick, the answer is once again: "Don't look at the numbers, try it yourself." We had paddlers weighing between 65 and 120 kg test the prototype. Everyone had a different experience; everyone had a blast. It's best to try the Slick! You might be surprised.
